I am being driven to school now :-)

How cool I must say (after I stop reaching for the handbrake on the odd occasion) that Benjamin is now driving to school. The other morning it was your typical run-of-the-mill Toowoomba day....that is.... foggy, drizzly, little bit chilly blah blah blah. Benjamin asked if he could drive and I really didn't think it was a good idea, but all went well. Didn't dodge the busy streets either... arrived safely with a nice big 'konk out' at the end. (I told him he was lucky he was driving MY Peugeot, as it has automatic windscreen wipers, so that was one thing he didn't need to be thinking about!!)

This morning he drove again and pretty much the same...no dramas except for the annoying little intersection near school which took him two starts. It was just 'the other day' I took him for his first 'lesson' in a little cul-de-sac off Ramsay street - that day we didn't venture into 3rd gear, just did starts and stops. He's come a long way. It's also a long way from the back roads near Kumbia where I learnt with Dad. AGGGHHHHH!!! won't even start thinking about that... end of Blog... :-)
